Next phase of infrastructure delivery
Linking Hedge End to Bishopstoke, the 1.2-mile link road will pass through the development, connecting into the northern and southern gateways.
Designs for the new road will see new junctions into residential and commercial areas, new transport links to include shared cycle and footways and a new bus route and extensive native shrub and tree planting.
The first phase of infrastructure, the northern and southern gateway entrances, first link road section and vast new informal public open spaces and habitat areas, was completed in September 2021.
Our focus on delivering infrastructure before or alongside the development of homes will mean that local people and new residents can benefit from improved access and new facilities at an earlier stage than is typical of housing developments.
