We’re involving local people in shaping the development through our public engagement, community projects, arts and culture and employment and skills resources.
Public engagement
We want One Horton Heath to be a great place for people to live, work and enjoy. Creating character spaces and community use facilities for everyone to visit, shop and spend time at. Outline approval in principal for the Masterplan was granted in 2021. The Masterplan has been reimagined and provides the vision for the future development.
We are looking forward to what is coming next as our story continues and we build on the success of the Masterplan and engage on our future plans with the community.
Community projects
We are welcoming interest from local community groups with ideas for projects we can support. One Horton Heath offers a great location for outdoor activities. If you’re involved in an educational, horticultural, charitable, social, health and wellbeing group or a local fundraising initiative, we would like to hear from you.
Career stories
The One Horton Heath project is proud to support local young people by offering meaningful career opportunities. Through internships and apprenticeships, young people gain hands-on experience, while workshops and training sessions help build skills and confidence to boost employability. By investing in the community’s next generation, the project is helping young people explore career paths and prepare for a successful future.
