We're committed to ensuring that no gas will be used in new homes. We're installing ground source heat pumps throughout the development and making use of other sustainable technology, such as solar panels, to ensure a development free of fossil fuels.
We're actively improving biodiversity on site by preserving and enhancing existing wildlife corridors, creating new green spaces and habitats for native species, and limiting building to land that has little ecological value.
We're prioritising sustainable travel throughout the site and beyond. New roads will feature shared cycle and footpaths, and we're developing a Cycle Greenway that will provide a leisurely car-free route around much of the site.
Electric vehicle charging points will be included with homes as standard, and an eco-friendly car club will be available for local people to use.
We're committed to ensuring that no gas will be used in new homes. We’ve started to deliver on our sustainability commitments by installing a ground source heat pump network on our first residential parcel and making use of other sustainable technology, such as solar, to ensure a development free of fossil fuels.
