The southern gateway is the start of the journey into One Horton Heath from the south and occupies a prominent location.  

The gateway is designed to ensure people feel a sense of entering the new development bringing out the character of the landscape to create areas where people can connect with the local environment whilst building dialogue with the surrounding structures.
