Groundworks have started on the developments first residential parcel, known as the Lower Acre.
This follows the start of construction on the final phase of the link road which will provide the connectivity into the Lower Acre parcel.
The early construction works will also see the start of the borehole drilling programme for the parcels ground source heat pump network.

Once complete, the Lower Acre will deliver 381 new homes of which 35% will affordable.
