Have your say on the next steps at One Horton Heath
We recently asked residents for their views on three sets of detailed proposals for the next stages at One Horton Heath, including new homes and green spaces.
Our proposals included:
Homes at Upper Acre
- 420 - 450 homes – a mix of apartments and 2, 3 and 4-bedroom houses
- A mix of affordable and market homes
- New parkland and play areas
- Safe walking and cycling routes
Homes at Quobleigh Breach
- 250–270 homes, including apartments and family homes
- Affordable and market homes, with options to rent or buy
- Green spaces for nature and play
Green Infrastructure
- Natural and semi-natural green spaces across the site
- Parks, planting and sustainable drainage areas
- Green routes linking homes, nature and future facilities
We are preparing to submit Reserved Matters planning applications – showing the detailed design, layout and landscaping for new homes and green spaces that are already approved in principle through the Outline Planning Application.
The consultation ran from Friday 18 July to Friday 8 August 2025 and is now closed. A public drop-in event was held at Fair Oak Village Hall on Friday 18 July 2025, and the same information was made available online during the consultation period.
The One Horton Heath team is now reviewing all feedback and will publish a summary of the key findings in the coming weeks. Thank you to everyone who took part.
