Upcoming drainage investigation works
Fair Oak junction

Follow-on drainage investigation works will take place at the junction of Fair Oak, Sandy Lane and Blackberry Lane as part of ongoing efforts to better understand local drainage conditions in the area.

The investigations will help gather further information about the existing drainage network and inform any future improvements, where required.

To safely complete the works, temporary traffic management will be in place overnight on 8–9 June, between 8pm and 5am.

Measures will include:

  • 4-way temporary traffic signals
  • Temporary pedestrian crossing facilities

Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

The works are being carried out overnight to help minimise disruption to daytime traffic, although some temporary delays and noise may still be experienced while the investigations are underway.

We appreciate the community’s continued patience and understanding while these essential investigations are completed.
