We’re delighted to welcome @simonbray, an award-winning photographer, as the first artist to undertake a PhD residency at One Horton Heath 📸

Delivered through a partnership between @eastleighbc and the @uni_southampton and @johnhansardgallery, Simon’s residency will explore creativity, place and community as the new neighbourhood grows. His work will involve working with residents through photography workshops and creative research over the coming years.

⚽ Keeping Friday Nights Active

Thank you to OHH’s The Lower Acre builders, Wates Residential, for donating essential football equipment to support Friday Night Football at Botley Recreation Ground.

The donation is helping provide safe, welcoming sessions for 10–17-year-olds, keeping young people active and engaged. Wates Residential recently joined a session to see the impact first-hand.

Delivered by Wrightsports and @sporthealthebc, Friday Night Football runs 49 weeks a year and offers an informal, safe, and affordable way for young people to enjoy football locally.

From 12–14 January 2026, we’ll be installing lighting to existing signage for the new pedestrian crossing near Meadowsweet Way.

🔸 Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in place
🔸 Manual control during peak times to minimise delays
🔸 Working hours: 08:00–17:00
