More than 80 girls booked to attend the 'All About Her' launch event
More than 80 girls booked to attend Eastleigh Active’s All About Her launch event at Places Leisure Eastleigh, discovering new sports and activities available across the borough this summer.
Delivered in partnership with Places Leisure Eastleigh and supported by Wates Group, the event encouraged girls to try new activities, meet local coaches and activity providers, and learn about the girls-only sessions taking place throughout the summer.
Attendees had the chance to take part in a variety of sports, including tennis, football, cricket, street basketball and Big Sister Sessions. Designed to be welcoming, supportive and fun, the programme aims to help girls build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy being active.
Wates Group also hosted interactive activities, including a photobooth and information about careers for women in construction, inspiring attendees to explore future opportunities.
The event is part of Eastleigh Active’s commitment to tackling the barriers that often prevent girls from taking part in sport, creating safe and supportive spaces where they can build confidence, make friends and have fun.
One Horton Heath was proud to support the event, helping to promote healthier, more active lifestyles and encouraging young people to make the most of the opportunities available across the borough.
