One Horton Heath
Festive food drive

This winter, One Horton Heath and our construction partner Wates Residential delivered a ‘Festive Food Drive’ as part of our shared commitment to supporting the local community.

Between 1 November and 8 December, collection points across One Horton Heath, Eastleigh Borough Council and Wates offices gathered a fantastic range of donated goods, from everyday staples such as tinned food, cereals and pasta to festive treats including chocolates, biscuits and mince pies.

Following the closure of The Fountain Pantry, which had originally been selected as the beneficiary, donations were distributed to two local foodbanks: The Food Centre in Hedge End and Eastleigh Basics Bank.

Both organisations expressed their appreciation:

“We’re incredibly grateful for your support. Donations like these help us reach more families during what can be a very difficult time of year.” Dave, Eastleigh Basics Bank

“Thank you for choosing to support us. Building these kinds of community partnerships is invaluable and helps us meet the growing need we see every week.” Ali, The Food Centre

We’re grateful to everyone who contributed and helped ensure these donations reached households who needed them most.

The Food Drive will return – stay tuned for future updates!
