OHH celebrates Wates’ “Excellent” award in
Considerate Constructors Scheme

We are proud to work alongside Wates, who recently received an “Excellent” rating in the 2025 Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards. This award recognises Wates’ strong commitment to quality, looking after the local community, and protecting the environment – values we share as we build the first phases of The Lower Acre. 

Outstanding scores across the board

Wates achieved top ratings in all key areas of the CCS assessment: Respect for the Community, Care for the Environment, and Value for their Workforce, earning a perfect score of 45 out of 45. This outstanding result reflects the site team’s dedicated efforts, including close collaboration with Eastleigh Borough Council, local colleges, and community groups. From minimising environmental impacts to supporting employee wellbeing and promoting mental health awareness, the team has gone above and beyond to create a safe and inclusive workplace. It’s a pleasure to partner with them!
