Located in the vibrant Borough of Eastleigh, the site falls east of Eastleigh town. It sits within the semi-rural Parish of Fair Oak and Horton Heath, joining the existing Horton Heath settlement, stretching from Allington Lane to the north and the railway line to the south.
Steeped in farming heritage, the original estate is comprised of three farmsteads: Foxholes Farm, Fir Tree Farm and Chalcroft Farm. Today, the 355 acre site offers us the opportunity to create a thoughtfully planned development. Take a look at the project brief to learn more.
In June 2020, we started our first phase of road building, delivering the first access roads to the north and south of the site, thanks to a £20.8m grant from Homes England.
By putting the roads in first, we can unlock the rest of the site for construction vehicles and keep traffic in the area flowing smoothly. It also means new occupants will benefit from the new access routes straight away.
In 2021 we completed the new Allington Lane roundabout and Chalcroft Way link road. Watch our latest video.
We are now moving forward. Find out more about our plans for the 1.2 mile link road connection.
