Temporary road closures for essential maintenance
Closure times: 9:30am to 4:00pm
Schedule
- Tuesday 20 October – The Avenue
- Wednesday 21 October – The Avenue, Chalcroft Way (following completion of works on The Avenue)
- Friday 23 October – Chalcroft Way, The Avenue (if required to complete any remaining works)
The roads will be closed one at a time to allow essential maintenance works to be carried out safely. Works include road surface treatment, new road markings, bollard improvements and replacement chevron signs.
Diversion route
Advanced warning signs have been put out already, and a signed diversion route will be in place while each road is closed.
B3342 Bubb Lane to B3354 Botley Road, then B3037 Eastleigh Road and Allington Lane.
Or Allington Lane, B3037 Eastleigh Road, 3354 Botley Road and then B3342 Bubb Lane.
