While developing the masterplan and first new homes proposals with our industry and Council specialists, we listened to voices in our community, capturing concerns, wishes, desires and issues in our designs.
Our design team met with local representatives, including parish councillors, youth leaders, residents and school leaders, through our development forum programme.
Launched in Autumn 2019, the forum offered a structured design-led environment organised into a series of workshops to engage on a range of topics including site character, land use and landscape. The process allowed the team to reconcile varying views through discussion and awareness, while developing the early design. The results from each session were then interpreted and translated into our designs.
